Paddling around McCormick’s Cable park in a canoe to test a new lighting/camera set up.  the test worked.  Nikon D70s set at 1/1000th, f/10, ISO 200, 15mm lens.  Nikon SB-800 flash on a monopod top left.  The D70s has an often overlooked electronic shutter, and is not limited to the normal 1/250 or 1/200 flash sync of every other digital SLR on the planet.  Being able to raise the shutter speed allows full sunlight to be darkened with the subject being lit with the flash.  There will be more like this.
